Pentel Smash was designed for stability and writing comfort. It features an all metal body with a motorcycle inspired grip texture. The low center of gravity creates a balanced weight for the best writing experience. A lead indicator helps you keep track of which lead you're using in the pencil, providing labels from 2H through 2B. To adjust the lead grade indicator, twist the grip counter clockwise to pull it away from the barrel. Once the desired lead grade is chosen with the twistable ring, push it back down to secure it.
